What I'm up to now:
- Currently Reading: Finding your North Star by Martha Beck. I'm really digging deep into this one, taking it slow and working through all of the recommended exercises - especially the parts related to mind-body connection. Next up on my reading list...I'm craving something mindful and scientific. We'll shall see where I land.
- Through Stillness: Oh my labor of love! Through Stillness is a company I started in January 2018 with the goal of teaching mindfulness techniques for humans in a modern world. I've led a 6 week group coaching course (6 Weeks Through Stillness) and just finished up a beautiful retreat in Grand Lake, Colorado where we hiked, yoga'd, ate amazing food, meditated and set mindful personal core values and value based goal. Next up? I'm in the process of setting fall/winter dates for my next group coaching program and working on free resources for the Through Stillness Community.
- Learning: I love learning and I'm focused on deepening my own mindfulness practice. I have a rather large spreadsheet of all the different course options I'm considering and plan to make a decision by end of August. You can send any recommendations my way!
- Life: Routines and rituals. This is what I'm exploring now. As much as I enjoy a totally free calendar, I've come to learn how much a routine can help my own mental and emotional well-being. I'm exploring what regular wake up time and bed times work for me, how I transition and spend my time in those important moments before bed and those crucial moments right as I get out of bed.
